Borrelia Burgdorferi Virus is a tick-borne spirochaeta infection, a natural epidemic disease caused by Borrelia burgdorferi. The reserve host of zoonosis is rats. The disease was first discovered in 1985 in the forest area of Heilongjiang Province, with neurological damage as the main clinical manifestation of the disease. The most common neurological lesions were meningitis, encephalitis, cranial neuritis, motor and sensory neuritis.
