Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever (CCHF)(Xinjiang hemorrhagic fever in China), also known as Central Asian hemorrhagic fever, is an acute viral infectious disease caused by Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever virus and transmitted by ticks, as well as their distribution across three continents: Europe, Asia and Africa. The population is generally susceptible, and the incidence of infection is mostly young and middle-aged, but there are also 2.5-3 years old infants and young children who are infected.
