Marburg Hemorrhagic Fever Virus
The Marburg Hemorrhagic Fever Antigen rapid assay kit is a transverse flow chromatography immunoassay for qualitative detection of anti-Marburg Hemorrhagic Fever Virus in human serum, plasma or whole blood. It is intended as a screening test and to assist in the diagnosis of Marburg Hemorrhagic Fever Virus infection.
Marburg Hemorrhagic Fever
Marburg virus disease (MVD) is a rare but severe hemorrhagic fever that affects people and non-human primates. It is caused by an infection with Marburg virus or Ravn virus, both within genus Marburgvirus. Marburgviruses are zoonotic (or, animal-borne) RNA viruses within the virus family Filoviridae.
