Human transferrin Antigen Rapid Test Kit (Colloidal gold) is a qualitative, transversal test kit for flow immunoassay detection of human occult blood in stool. The membrane is pre-coated with anti-transferrin antibodies on the test line area of the strip. During the interim test, the sample reacts with particles coated with anti-transferrin antibodies. This mixture migrates up the membrane through capillary action and reacts with anti-transferrin antibodies on the membrane to form a colored line.
The presence of this colored line in the test area indicates a positive result, while its absence indicates a negative result. As a program control line will always appear in the control line area, indicating that the sample has been added and the film wick has occurred.
