Japanese encephalitis is an acute central nervous system infectious disease caused by Japanese encephalitis virus. The disease is transmitted by mosquitoes, and people and animals with the virus become the source of infection. After infection with the JE virus, the body first appears IgM antibodies, and then appears IgG antibodies. The detection of Japanese encephalitis virus (EPBV) antibody in serum is important for the early diagnosis of Japanese encephalitis.
