The typhoid IgG/IgM Rapid assay is a side-flow immunoassay for simultaneous detection and differentiation of typhoid-resistant Salmonella (Salmonella typhi) IgG and IgM in human serum, plasma, or whole blood. It is intended to be used as a screening test and as an adjunct to diagnosing Salmonella typhi infection. Any reactive specimen using a typhoid IgG/IgM rapid test kit must be confirmed using other testing methods.

Detection principle:

The antigen on the reaction plate membrane binds to the corresponding IgG antibody in the sample to form a complex, and the addition of a colloidal gold labeled second antibody forms a red spot. If the serum to be tested does not contain the corresponding antibody, there is no spot formation; Only control points; If no spots form, the reagent has failed.
