EDDP Rapid Test Uncut Sheet (Urine)
A metabolite of EDDP methadone, the EDDP test is used to determine the effective intake of methadone when used as an alternative treatment for patients during discontinuation of use. Methadone is metabolized in the liver into EDDP and EMDP. However, metabolic rate varies from person to person. Testing EDDP instead of methadone avoids the problems associated with metabolic differences in each individual.
