Cancer Antigen 242(CA242)
Cancer Antigen 242 (CA242) is a salivary mucin-type carbohydrate antigen present in normal pancreatic and colorectal mucosa with low expression. The level of CA242 in serum is higher in non-squamous tissue malignant tumors than in squamous cell carcinoma, which can be used for auxiliary diagnosis and treatment monitoring of patients with pancreatic and colorectal cancer.
